    This collage was put together to mark the passing of 20 years since the United nations Treaty of Childrens rights were
 
highlight
signed in New York, with all signing but America, and Somalia. Since then in many countries life has changed for the
 
children at war
better for children. However there are still many children as yet untouched by it's promises. This rather ghostly image
 
stages
of a child, sitting on sandbags , is to highlight those who are still waiting for clean water, food, protection from
 
writings
harm,education, and all the other rights agreed in the treaty.To see them click here.
    Unicef stated recently that in the last decade 10 million children have been traumatised by war.........how shameful

    Writing out the numbers in   I used the traced shapes as a   Changing to green text for the
    charcoal, I then tried a traced   stencil, and using the printed out   numbers, I work around laying out
    figure from another picture out in   text of childrens rights, cut up   the whole treaty sticking the
    between the numbers.   sections, and stuck them on   sheets together with sellotape.
